Switzerland, with its breathtaking landscapes and precision, turned into a fantastic classroom under the skies for a group of intrepid Alpha students. This journey was about living the 2hr Learning model, where school can be anywhere, and learning knows no bounds. Our partnership with John F. Kennedy International School made this extraordinary adventure possible, motivating our students to work hard and earn their spots.
Igloo Engineering: Fun and Learning in the Snow
Aileya’s favorite activity was building an igloo. “The feeling of snow on my gloves makes me happier every time I touch it,” she shared. Constructing the igloo involved learning about engineering, physics, and teamwork. It combined the joy of building with the excitement of being in a new environment.
From Glaciers to Teamwork
Marshall found that the journey to Glacier 3000 was a lesson in persistence and collaboration. Building an igloo required coordination and physical effort. “Teamwork can help a lot,” he reflected, understanding the value of working together to achieve a common goal.

Aksel’s excitement about the peak walk at Glacier 3000 was palpable. Walking from peak to peak meant enjoying stunning views and conquering personal fears. The thrill of the bridge walk and the breathtaking scenery made it an unforgettable experience.
