MacKenzie Price

Co-Founder of
2hr Learning

MacKenzie Price is the Co-Founder of 2hr Learning and Alpha School, two groundbreaking ventures that are reshaping the landscape of K-12 education.

2hr Learning is powered by AI technology that enables schools to provide personalized, mastery learning to students, enabling them to learn faster than standard school, thereby freeing up the rest of the school day to pursue their passions and interests. Alpha is a K-12 school that leverages 2hr Learning to make three commitments: students love school, learn twice as much as standard school students in only 2 hours per day, and learn life skills through project-based workshops. Alpha classes perform in the top 2% nationwide. She also works with gt.school, an after-school learning platform for test prep and core academics.

MacKenzie hosts a podcast and YouTube channel, Future of Education, where she explores how cutting-edge AI technology is driving positive disruption in education and how students can harmonize their passions with their skills to develop personally and academically. Over the past two decades, she has been involved in projects that encouraged online apps for learning and participated in large-scale research programs led by Harvard University that focused on motivating students.

MacKenzie graduated with a BA in Psychology from Stanford University. She resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two daughters.
